On a somewhat sunny day in May, in the city of angels, Benjamin T. Mah was brought into this world. Hurrah...

I'm sure it wasn't that exciting, but that's the beginning...

My story. I was born in California, grew up in Kansas. Not by choice mind you, but I suppose it was for the best. At least I can say, with all honesty, that I wasn't BORN in Kansas. I think that fact kept me sane...

1984 - We move to Burlington, Kansas. This is the final stop. Previous to that was a brief stint (4 years) in Emporia, KS. I wander through Jr. High and High School, decide that I don't want to stay here, and leave the state. I ended up in Iowa for 2 years. I know, I know, but it didn't matter to me as long as it wasn't Kansas...

So while in Iowa, I make the decision to head BACK to Kansas. Why? Well I was in the midst of a change of major. Pre-Med just wasn't working out. It didn't help that I failed Chemistry 2 (kind of important when dealing with the human body). It was suggested that I try a different direction, that direction being Film. I moved back to Kansas, enrolled in the Film Studies program at KU and spend the next 4 years finishing school.

And to speed this up...

I moved to Minnesota, worked on a film, met some creatively like-minded individuals, managed a bar, wrote and directed another short film, traveled some, and moved to Reno, NV.

So here I am.
