AVP

Ok, I did it.  Popped in AVP (the extendeed version) last night...

Aliens VS. Preadator - after a long drawn out battle with no character deveopment, and some very cliche action shots, the Preadator emerged victorious.  Was I surprised?  Not really, although I've always had a soft spot for the aliens - they've got acid blood...

Did I hate the film?  No, but it was cheesy.  Cheesy fun of course, but the potential for a much better film was there, but I'm guessing that's not what the studios wanted.  Look at what they did to poor David Fincher and Alien 3...

Found a cool site for asian films that I've been checking out:  www.filmacco.com .  I've been corresponding with the admin of the site and was asked to help out with reviews.  I haven't done one yet, but my first one should be done soon...
